Swim Team 2018

The girls had fun swimming for the Lakers this summer.  I was the team rep so that was a new experience for me that involved board meetings, making sure we had enough officials for each meet, and communicating with the teams we swam against every week. Jayda wasn't able to swim in many meets this summer because most Saturdays she had softball tournaments.  Avery and Sydney swam at all but one of the meets and had a good time.  They love being with their friends at the pool!

Last day of swim practice for the summer.

Avery came such a long ways this summer!  At the beginning of the summer she couldn't make it across the pool by herself.  By the end of the summer she was swimming up and down the pool over and over all by herself.  So, so proud of her!
