Sydney's Pre-School Christmas program was the Friday before Christmas. She was an angel and exclaimed "A savior has been born in Bethlehem!" in her little play. She did so good and wasn't scared at all. We were so proud of our little angel!

We went to visit Santa the Saturday before Christmas. The girls were so excited to see the "real" Santa!

I promised Sydney that we could make some of the yummy sugar cookies for Christmas that we had made last year. So, on Christmas Eve morning we woke up and starting making cookies bright and early at 8:00 am...and didn't finish decorating them and cleaning up until 2:00 pm! She loved them and had lots of fun baking with me, so that's what really matters! She is definitely going to be our little baker!
On Christmas Eve afternoon we headed over to Oma and Oupa's house to have dinner with them and open presents. Avery loved playing with the Christmas window stickers.

The first picture of Sydney in the purple sweatshirt was taken about 2 hours before the last two. Poor thing got sick right as we started opening presents on Christmas Eve. She started running fever and kept saying she was cold and stayed wrapped up in the blanket with Daddy the rest of the night. She ended up having strep throat, but couldn't get into the doctor until the day after Christmas.
It was so sad...at least she got new cowgirl boots too!
Santa Claus brought bikes for all of the girls. Woo-hoo!!!! Just what they asked for!

The girls were thrilled to find their new bikes on Christmas morning! Sweet Sydney smiled for the camera, but actually felt awful and was running a high fever all day.
I kept asking Avery to smile for the camera...and this was the face she would give. She cracks us up so much! This sweet baby got sick the day after Christmas with the same thing that Sydney had! It was a bit of a rough Christmas to say the least...but, there is always next year! :)
