Jacob's sweet Papaw went to heaven on Friday, March 21, 2014. He fought a long battle of lung cancer, that eventually moved to his brain. Even through all of the radiation, chemo, pain and suffering he went through, he never complained. Never whined about what he was going through, he just dealt with it and stayed tough all the way through until the very end. We will miss him so much. His sense of humor and ability to say the most inappropriate things, but that were always so true.
We love you Papaw!

In April 2012 we celebrated Mammaw and Papaw's 50th wedding anniversary! We made them each a book of letters from all of us and pictures. Papaw was looking through his book with Jayda.

I love the way it turned out and I was so glad we were able to do something like this. It's not really showing up the right way and doesn't have the music, but at least I am able to post it. :)

Nice tribute to him and the memories you'll have. It's always difficult letting go. Reminds me of your Papaw and the fun times we had in Waller. The memories stay in your heart forever.
