On New Year's Eve the poor girls were sick with nasty colds and ear infections, but somehow Daddy still popped off some fireworks for them. They loved watching them and helping him light 'em up! We didn't stay outside long since it was so cold, but at least they were able to get in the spirit!
Watching the fireworks...brrrr!
Sparkler time, yay!
Happy New Year 2014 from Jayda and Sydney!
Last Monday night we went to Jacob and Cole's first basketball game of the season.
They are playing in a church league and seemed to both have a lot of fun!
Cole making a shot!
And taking another one.
The girls were so happy to see Aunt Karen and cousin Caitlyn at the game!
They sat with them the whole time! Sweet girls. :)
Jacob heading in to make a shot. Go Daddy!
Cheering on their team at the end of the game!
Getting a little pep talk from Pawpaw. :)
Yesterday morning we woke up to about an inch of SNOW! It was so beautiful outside, everything was white! Apparently it had snowed for 6 hours throughout the night. Since we hardly ever get snow in Huntsville, it was a HUGE deal! All of the schools shut down so the girls got to stay home and play in the snow. Not sure when this will ever happen again, but it was really fun! After I fixed breakfast me and the big girls went outside to build a snowman. We found that the snow on the trampoline was perfect. It was thick and clean. The girls helped me collect a ton of snow and then I packed it all together to make a snowman. I can't believe how long it took to make such a little snowman! We were out there for over an hour at least! We had a lot of fun though and the girls loved putting his face and buttons on. We named him Olaf, the snowman from Frozen.
We found Olaf!
This little sweet pea stayed inside and watched us make the snowman.
She kept saying "Mama, mama, maaaamaaa!!!" It was so cute!
So excited about their snowman!
Silly faces with Olaf!
And they had to give him a kiss! :)
The snow was just gorgeous!
The pond looked so pretty!
