THE PASCHAL PASTIMES: July 2013...Whew!

So much has happened this past month...I'm not even sure where to begin! Avery turned 7 months old, Jacob had his 30th birthday, we took a trip with Jacob's side of the family to lake conroe, Jayda turned 6 years old, we went on an awesome mini vacation to the Cayman Islands, oh and we put our house on the market, got a contract on it in one day, and have decided to move back to Huntsville! Jacob got a job at a small law firm in Huntsville so we are super exctied to move back to our hometown and have lots of family around! Whew, it has been a little crazy around here to say the least!

Jacob turned 30 on July 6th! So crazy that we're already 30 this year!!

We grilled steaks at Jacob's parents house for his birthday. Everything was so good!

Avery is just as sweet as ever at 7 months. She babbles all the time saying ma-ma and da-da. It's so cute to listen to her precious little voice. She is still a very laid back baby and just goes all over the place with us. Avery loves to watch her big sisters play, and can't get enough of them tickling and loving on her. She definitely laughs the most at the two of them. We've been going to the pool a lot this summer, however Avery isn't such a big fan. She tolerates it at least for an hour or two so that her sisters can have some pool time, thank goodenss. Avery is now taking 2 naps, usually about 2 hours each. She naps in her crib during the day and at night and still sleeps in our room in the pack n play. She was sleeping in her room at night for a little while, but after getting sick she's been back in our room. It's too hard for this tired mama to get up and down and go to her room all night to give her the paci. She has even started crawling within the last week or two. She isn't fully crawling, but she is super close. She can get up on all fours, but then once she pushes herself forward with her legs she face plants. But, now she's starting to get right back up after she falls down so I think she's going to put it all together soon. Tonight I saw her pulling herself across the floor with her arms...it's only a matter of time before she is following us all over the house. She always wants to be with one of us and gets upset if she can't see someone else in the room. She doesn't seem to care who it is, just as long as she's not on her own. Good thing she's got two big sisters that love her to pieces and always want to be around her!

We had Jayda's 6th birthday party at the ice skating rink here in Sugar Land. We took the girls ice skating last summer and ever since then Jayda had been asking to have her party there. She was super excited about her party and she had a blast. We started off in the party room with pizza and cupcakes. Then we all ice skated for a couple of hours and did the bumper cars on ice. It was one of the funnest birthday parties we've had!

A few days later Jacob and I headed to the Cayman Islands...on our own! We were so excited
to get away for a few days and get a break from everything!
