Galveston Trip and Halloween 2015!

A few weeks ago Jacob had a conference in Galveston at the Moody Gardens Hotel, so we decided to tag along with him.  The girls had a blast at the beach and swimming at the hotel pool.  The first night we arrived we went to the Rainforest CafĂ© for dinner.  It worked out perfectly because they just happened to be having a bday party for the frog that stays there.  The girls got fun prizes, cupcakes, and party favor bags.  They thought that was pretty neat!  After dinner we headed for a late night swim at the hotel pool and hot tub.  The next morning before Jacob had to be at his conference we took the girls to the beach.  I'm sad to admit it, but I think this may have been Avery's first trip to the beach!  And she loved every minute of it.  She ran into the waves and played in the sand.  It was so cute!
Sweet girl out on the rocks.

Seesters!

Miss Sydney had fun walking out on the rocks.
And Jayda had to get her picture taken with the ocean in the background. She was loving the beach too!
Heading back to the shore.
Avery Mae is definitely a beach loving girl!

Jayda wanted at picture with her Daddy at the beach.

Splashing in the ocean with Daddy!
Love those curls, and those legs!!!

After the girls played at the beach for a while, we headed over to the fairy to take a ride.  The fairy took us to Bolivar Peninsula and then brought us back.  The girls were super excited to take a ride on the fairy!  We saw lots of dolphins jumping up out of the water so the girls loved that!

Dolphin watching.

Sweet pea had to be held up the whole time so she could see the dolphins too.

For Halloween this year Sydney was an angel, Avery was supposed to be Arial, and I'm really not sure what Jayda was going for.  We weren't able to get Avery into her costume because apparently it "hurt" (scratched) her too much, so she just wore her trick or treat t-shirt. :)  It just wasn't worth the battle!  They sure looked cute anyway though and had a ton of fun!

Our three little munchkins for Halloween.
Silly faaaaaaceeee!  These girls!

And they even got a little Halloween surprise from Oma! :)

Jayda worked the Halloween carnival at the fairgrounds for a while to get in some of her 4-H service hours.  She also made a dozen cupcakes and a cake for the carnival.  Way to go Jayda!
After Jayda finished working we headed out to Elkins to Willa and Evie's house for a Halloween party to meet up with the rest of our fam.  Heather had set up some really fun Halloween games, and they had a bounce house and dinner for everyone.  It was so nice!  Once we got there everyone was heading out to go trick or treating, which is the best part of the night for the girls!

Running to the next house for more CANDY!
This little candy lover was in heaven trick or treating.  She thought it was the best thing ever and kept telling people "I need some more candy", after they would give her some!  She is such a little mess.
Little buddies Avery and Evie back at Evie's house after trick or treating.  These two are so cute together!

A few of the kiddos all dressed up at the party!  We had such a fun night.  Sydney even said it was the "best day ever!"

Happy 60th B-Day Oma!

Well, I have been super bad about posting on this blog lately.  I guess life has just gotten in the way or something!  I wanted to post a few pics tonight of some things that we've been up to!

Jayda and Sydney performed at the Hornet football game with the cheerleaders and grenadier guard last friday night.  They did the dance and cheer camps the past few weekends and were asked to come out to the game on friday so they were super excited!

Our little "future hornet".  I just love her little t-shirt!

All ready to cheer on the field with the cheerleaders!

Lets GOOOO Hornets!!!!!

Jayda and Casey, one of her mentor cheerleaders.

Sydney with her favorite cheerleader, whose name was also Sydney!  And she loved Casey too!

The girls loved dancing with the grenadier guard on the field.

On Saturday we celebrated Oma's 60th Birthday!!!  We had a little birthday brunch at the City Hall Cafe and Pie Bar.  Everything turned out so nice and Oma really enjoyed it.  Yay!
The pretty cake and bday invite.

The table arrangement.

Oma at her party with Aunt Debbie and Sydney.

Oma and the girls!

Happy birthday to you!!!

Molly and Halley had lots of fun at the party!  Molly loves Avery!

Party girls!  Somebody wasn't too crazy about their party hat. ;)

And a little party guy!

All of the grandkiddos at the party!

Sisters!

We were so happy to be a part of Oma's special day!

We headed straight from Oma's party to the Fair on the Square for the girls to perform with their dance studio.  They both did such a great job!  Sydney did a tap routine and Jayda did a jazz routine.

All lined up to go on stage.

Ready for their tap show!

I took Avery to the duck pond today for an impromptu photo session.  I just ordered this adorable Matilda Jane dress for her and thought, why not go and take her picture in it?!  She was so cute and was posing all over the place.  I love this girl so much!  She is such a happy girl and has the sweetest little spirit ever.  She is so loving and caring.  She is always looking out for others, especially her sisters!  She asks questions constantly and is so smart!  She picks up on things very quickly and talks a ton!  I can not believe she will be 3 in December!!!!

I think that's it for now!  Next up, we'll be having Baby P #4!!!  I can not believe she will be here in just over 6 weeks!  Here's to our lives getting even a little bit more crazy! :)
