A few weeks ago we took Jayda and Sydney to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We took them out of school early, around 1:00 P.M. and headed down there. They had a blast going on lots of rides with Daddy! We bought 100 tickets and used them all up in about an hour and a half! After the girls did the rides we had some yummy BBQ for dinner.
Sydney was so excited to finally go on this slide! She wanted to go on it last year when we went but it was raining and they couldn't get it dried off enough for people to ride on.

A sweet man saw me taking a picture of Jacob and the girls and asked if I wanted him to take one of all of us. :) Thought that was so nice!

Jayda could not believe they had a Marble Slab at the rodeo, and her favorite ice cream flavor! It was like a dream come true between the carnival rides and cotton candy ice cream!
After all the fun and food we headed into NRG Stadium to watch the rodeo and Ariana Grande!

We FINALLY broke ground on our new house yesterday! For a while now I have been thinking this day would NEVER come! We have been planning and preparing for this day for over a year and I am so excited that it has finally come! On Wednesday, March, 25th, they delivered the bulldozers to our property, and by the next day they had already broken ground! I was pretty pumped to see the bulldozer out there shoving dirt around, and to see all of the dump trucks bringing one load of dirt after another. Our builder has said there will likely be about 100 loads of dirt that will be brought in for our pad. I went out yesterday to take a few pictures of the progress, and they had already done a ton of work! They are set to pour our slab on April 8th, which will be pretty quick. YAY!
They put about 10-20 loads of dirt down to make the base for our driveway. We are going to put gravel over the top of it pretty soon and hopefully all of the construction trucks will pack it down nicely.

Wow! Hard to believe it's finally happening. So happy for you'll! Looks like everyone had fun at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. It's become an annual family event.
