~Christmas 2011~

Whew, I've got a lot to catch up on! I can't believe this is the first time since Christmas that I've had to sit down and do a little blogging! We were gone for Christmas for almost 2 weeks and after we got back it seemed like there was SO much to do...unpacking, laundry, cleaning, organizing, putting new toys together etc. I'm definitely not complaining about any of it because I'm so thankful for everything, it's just taken a while to get things back to normal around here! So, here I am, finally getting some Christmas pics up. We'll start back a few weeks before Christmas since that is where my last post left off.

Sweet girls swinging together at the park one afternoon.

Sydney always love to push the swing, even when nobody is in the swing. Silly girl.

A few weeks before Christmas we went to the galleria so that Jayda could do a little ice skating. She went last year for the first time and loved it! She has been asking to go back, so we thought it would fun to go at Christmas time with the big beautiful tree. It was super busy, but Jayda still had a blast ice skating with daddy. She was very upset when we had to leave. :(

Making her first round with daddy.

SO excited to be ice skating!

Sydney was not very happy that she couldn't skate with daddy and Jayda.

Love the big Christmas tree in the rink!

She got the hang of it pretty quick and was zooming around the rink by the time we had to leave.

After all the ice skating fun we headed over to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. The girls love eating there and had fun as usual. Sydney thought it was so funny to play with Jacob's hat.

They also got super fun balloons while we were at dinner. Jayda loved her butterfly!

Me and my sweet girlies before church one sunday.

This is how Sydney eats an ice cream sandwich. :)

Cute mustache Sydney!

Just another morning at our house, I love how sweet they are to each other (most of the time).

The week before Christmas Jayda had a little Christmas party at her school. She and Sydney are handing out Jayda's Christmas goody bags to all her friends. Sydney had to help too of course.

Jayda was so excited to get a new book for Christmas from her teachers, so sweet!

Jayda decorating her snow globe at the Christmas party.

Little munchkin wanted a snack at the party too.

Jayda with Jenna, her best friend at school.

Jayda's school also had a little Christmas program the week before Christmas. Jayda is on the far left singing "In a Stable".

Our cute little shepard! She did such a good job.

Sydney was dancing around having a ball at the program too!

SO happy to see daddy after the program! The girls hadn't seen daddy for the past several days before this night so she was escatic to finally see her daddy!

After Jayda's Christmas program we came home and gave the girls a few early Christmas presents. They were super happy to open some presents before Christmas!

They loved their new bathroom stools that mommy made, yay!

And they loved their new play vanity set, so fun!

Playing with their new vanity set the morning before we left for Christmas vacation.

The weekend before Christmas we headed to Huntsville for Jacob's family Christmas party. Me, Lourdes & Brandy attempting to make elf cake pops for the Paschal family Christmas party. They turned out pretty cute, but were quite the pain to make.

The Paschal grandkiddos, what a bunch of cuties!

Daddy and Sydney opening Christmas presents together.

Jayda was very exctied about Sydney's new dress up shoes and tiara. Thankfully Sydney was sweet enough to share her new stuff!

Yay for new clothes!!

After the big party at Jacob's parents house the weekend before Christmas me and the girls headed over to Oma and Oupa's house. We stayed there until Christmas while daddy went back to work.

Sydney loves putting on anyone and everyone's shoes and walking around. She found Oma's tennis shoes this time!

Cousins Molly and Halley came over to Oma's house for a little mini Chirstmas party one afternoon before Christmas. The girls loved all the yummy sweets and treats.

A few days before Christmas we drove to Palestine to ride on the "Polar Express" train. This was so much fun, and the girls absolutely LOVED it! The train ride was about an hour and was just like the movie! Well worth the drive and the money!

The girls taking a quick pic with the train conductor.

Sydney thought she'd climb the fence and get on the train herself.

Me with Jayda and Caitlyn just before getting on the train, so excited!

Oma and the girls on The Polar Express all ready to go!

Nana and Caitlyn on the train with Jayda and Sydney.

Once the train got going servers came out singing and dancing and brought hot chocolate and cookies out to everyone. Yummo!

After that they read the Polar Express book aloud and you could follow along if you'd brought your copy.

Sydney loved looking out the window while we rode on the train.

We made it to the North Pole, YAY!!

Santa got on the train at the North Pole and then handed bells out to every kid on the train. The girls were super excited to get their bells!

Sweet girl ringing her bell.

Sydney was having fun with her bell too!

Jayda and Sydney loved dancing with the servers on the train!

Going for a little ride with Daddy at the mall to do some Christmas shopping.

Sydney having a little snack in the playhouse at Oma and Oupa's.

Andrea and Sara stopped by before Christmas to visit for a little while. Jayda LOVES Sara, and Sara seems to like Jayda too!

Sydney opening her new booster seat from mommy and daddy on Christmas Eve morning.

Jayda loves her new booster seat, she has been asking for one for a long time!

Daddy opening his new boots from us on Christmas Eve.

Sydney definitely likes daddy's boots too!

Sweet girl all smiles on Christmas Eve all ready to open up some presents!

It's a new Baby Alive, lol!

Jayda and Sydney feeding the actual Baby Alive from Oma and Oupa on Christmas Eve. They love her!

Jayda wrote a note to Santa on Christmas Eve and put milk and cookies out for him, plus a few carrots for the reindeer. So fun!

Santa brought the girls a new train set!! Jayda was very excited about it and couldn't believe Santa even brought more than just the train set she'd asked for!

Jayda had to take daddy his stocking first of course.

Sydney found the candy in her stocking very quickly.

Oma and Oupa also got the girls a new Barbie dollhouse! They LOVE it too!

Sweet girls playing together on Christmas morning before heading over to Nana and Pawpaw's house.

Our little family on Christmas morning 2011!

Jayda and daddy opening more presents! Jayda was in heaven!

Nana and Pawpaw got the girls an easel for Christmas, woo-hoo! They've had lots of fun painting and coloring on that as well.

On Christmas morning we packed up and headed up to Oklahoma to see Jacob's grandparents. After a long car ride, and much needed rest, we made it to Mammaw and Papaw's house! Mammaw and Jayda on Christmas night.

Mammaw and Papaw got the girls a tent for Christmas, Sydney was in love!

Making a pit stop at BK on the way home from OK.

We stopped by Riley's new house on our way home to Sugar Land and the girls had lots of fun exchanging Christmas presents. Big hugs!

Thank you to each and everyone of you that gave either the girls, myself, or Jacob a Christmas present(s). We sincerely appreciate everyone's generousity and are so thankful and blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
