Sydney with her little pigtails for the first time. Doesn't she just look so darn cute? Obviously, I love it!
"Yay for my pigtails!" Haha, not really, I'm sure she was thinking more like "Please get these little things OUT of my hair!"
Going for a little walk outside with her new do. Sydney loves to go walking down the sidewalks and around the neighborhood. Problem is she thinks she is such a big girl and can go wherever she wants, even if that is into the street. She is having to learn a lot of lessons with this new found independence!
Oops, she fell down and decided to take a little break.
Sydney getting a ride on the choo-choo train from big sis. They both love to do this! Jayda gets a kick out of pushing Sydney all over the house and Sydney hangs on for dear life and enjoys the ride. Oh my, what do we have in store for us?!
I fixed her hair a little different the next day and just did one little bitty pony tail with a bow, so cute! I am loving being able to fix hair again (since Jayda will never let me). Although, I'm not too sure how long it will last. Better enjoy it!
The girls heading out to the park in their wagon, fun times! They sure do love their wagon!
We switched Sydney's car seat this weekend to face forward, so she is officially a big girl now! She likes getting to look around at everything, much better!
On saturday we met Nana and Pawpaw at the zoo so that they could take the girls for the night. This was Sydney's first time at the zoo. We had fun riding the train and checking out the new African exhibit. Oh, and we bought a membership, so now we can go back whenever we want. Yay!
Checking out her wagon while waiting at the train station.
Nana, Pawpaw and Jayda ready to ride the "choo-chooooo!"
Jacob, me and Sydney ready to go.
Sydney was not too sure about the whole train thing. Good thing she was sitting with her daddy!
And again, she was not sure what to think about the giraffes. They are SO big compared to her.
Finally warming up to the idea of all these crazy, big, loud animals around her.
This chimp came right up to the window and just sat there and stared at the girls for a long time. It was the coolest thing to see it so up close!
The girls both loved watching all of the chimps in the new exhibit, so cool!
Jayda was having fun playing the drums at the zoo.
One of her favorite parts of the zoo is the petting zoo because she can pet the goats. She has always loved going in here and loving on them. She is a big animal lover!
While the girls were gone on saturday night Jacob and I went out on a date. We had a wonderful dinner at Benihana and then went to see a movie. It was SO nice getting to spend time with one another, thank you Nana and Pawpaw!!!
