Picture Update!

A lot has been going on lately around here, hince the lack of blog post. However, we are getting settled back in at home now and should be back into more of a routine. I can't really remember everything that has gone on lately, so I'm just going to post some pictures and maybe it will all come back to me! Hope you all are having a wonderful summer!!

These are some pictures I took of Jayda last week at the splash park. We go there nearly every morning. Now that our pool has opened up during the week, I think we'll probably be doing the pool instead since she absolutely loves it!

Her favorite thing to do at the splash park is to spray people. She thinks it's hilarious, especially if she can get mommy!

A week ago saturday we celebrated Brandy's 25th birthday at the Aquarium Downtown. Jacob, Jayda and I went down early to do all of the fun rides and check out all of the fish. Big thanks to Justin and Lourdes for getting us free all day passes, y'all are awesome! Jayda lovedthe carousel and wanted to go on it over and over. She did not like the ferris wheel at all. While we were on it she was holding on to us pretty tight, but we didn't think much of it. Later on we asked her if she wanted to go back on and she would say "EEEEEHHHHH"! So we figured she was not a big fan. Anytime we mentioned the ferris wheel the rest of the day she'd get freaked out, sorry baby! We also went on a train ride through the shark exhibit which was pretty neat. She loved walking through the aquarium adventure. We had a lot of fun and we're so glad we got to celebrate Brandy's birthday with her!

As most of you know Jacob's dad, Doug, was in the hospital last week for 5 days and ended up having 3 stents put in his heart. Thank you all SO much for your prayers! The Lord answered our prayers and Doug is doing very well and already back to work! Last week was a very scary, stressful, tense time for our whole family and we are so glad we are past it! While we were at the hospital we took a couple of breaks to go to the zoo and Herman park.

This past weekend we went home to Huntsville to see Pawpaw and make sure he was doing well. Glad to report everything is going great! Jayda had a ton of fun playing with her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins!
