We Have a Pre-K Graduate!!!!

I can not believe that our sweet Sydney has graduated from Pre-K and is heading on to Kindergarten in the fall!!!!  She had another wonderful year with Mrs. Anitra and loved pre-k so much.  She had several great friends in her class (Sara, Willa, Hartley) and had so much fun playing with them every day she was at school.  Sydney learned a ton and now knows and can write all of her letters.  She has even begun reading some simple books.  I am so proud of her!  At graduation yesterday she got the "best helper" award.  Mrs. Anitra said that she was always willing to help anyone in need and was so sweet and caring with everyone.  I think that sums up Sydney pretty well.  She has such a kind and caring spirit and will do anything for you.  We sure do love you miss Sydney Anne and can not wait to see what God has in store for you over the next several years! XOXO!

Sydney with her amazing teacher, Mrs. Anitra!  We will miss her SO much!

Mrs. Anitra made Sydney a book about her year in pre-k!  It is so sweet and special!

Presents from her teacher. :)

Waiting in line to "graduate".

Getting her pre-k diploma!

She's all done, woo-hoo!!!!

Our little graduate.

Sweet friends, Sydney and Sara.

Heading out the door for her very last day of pre-k!

Picnic at the park on her last day of school!

Avery was so glad she got to come too!

Sydney's class at the splash party!

Gotta wash the car.

Silly Avery was putting her head down in the sprinkler at the splash party.

She had so much fun too!

Sweet girl was loving big sister's splash party!

They got to make huge bubbles.  It was so neat!

Lovin' the water.

More big bubbles!

These silly munchkins painted all over themselves!

And wanted to show us their backsides too. :)

Putting on the last of their paint before having to wash it all off.

Avery was loving the sidewalk chalk and water.

Sydney gave Mrs. Anitra a sweet card and a 3 spoons gift card!

Last picture with her pre-k teacher!

Silly sisters all wrapped up after the splash party.

And I had to throw in some swim team pictures too!  Last saturday we had a home meet and swam against Bryan.  It ended up pouring down rain half way through the meet, but the girls were very brave and swam in the rain anyway.  I was so proud of them!

Sydney and Holly on the ready bench before their freestyle relay.

Ready to swim!

Sydney got moved up to swim in the 7&8 meadley relay last week.  They had Sydney swim backstroke, which is also what Jayda was swimming in the 7&8 A relay!  It was so fun to watch them swim against each other.  Don't know if that will ever happen again!

Two little backstrokers!

Sydney and her buddy Emily.

Avery was so excited to see Sydney when she got to the swim meet with Daddy!

"Take your mark"

On the blocks ready to go!

Summertime is here so we will be spending a lot of time at the pool and doing fun stuff!  And, we should be moving into our new house sometime in July!  Hopefully I'll remember to do a few blog posts at some point during the summer!

We're Having Another Baby GIRL!!!!

Believe it or not, we are having another baby girl!  We are so excited that she will be joining our family in November!  We had a gender reveal party with our family and friends last Thursday to find out if it was going to be a boy or girl!  My friend Liz made cupcakes with filling inside that would tell us what the gender was.  We couldn't wait to find out and it was so neat having so many people there with us to share that special moment.  I have felt pretty much the same this pregnancy, so I should've known it was going to be a girl.  However, for some reason since the very beginning I had been thinking this one was a boy.  I had some different cravings this time (salty and sour foods, mexcian food, citrusy drinks etc.) that I hadn't had with the other girls.  But, I was not right this time!  Jacob on the other hand was right, he thought it was going to be another girl all along!  Either way we really didn't care if it was a boy or girl, we just want a healthy little baby!

The party table all set up.

Fun "boy or girl?" balloons.

Two sisters were cheering for a girl, and one was going for a boy!

Yummy drinks!

I loved these pink and blue gumballs in the candy jar.

A picture of the new little bitty one.

Finally brought out the cupcakes and we were ready to find out!

Mommy and Daddy with our big girl!

Biting into the cupcake to find out if we're having a boy or girl!

"It's another GIRL!!!!!!"

"Oh my goodness!!!!"

We couldn't believe it!

So happy to add one more little lady to our crew!

Can't wait to meet the little miss in November!

Baby #4 is on the way!!!

We are very excited to announce that baby #4 is on the way!  This baby was a bit of a surprise, but we couldn't be happier to add one more little munchkin to our family!  And, this will be our last one, for sure! :)  We found out a few months ago, but waited for a few weeks to tell the girls.  We wanted to go to the doctor first and make sure the baby was ok before we told the girls. Thankfully the baby was great when we went for the ultrasound so that night we took them out to our new house and told them the exciting news!

I made this card from the baby for the girls to open.

And I put a picture of the baby on the inside.

I put the card in a gift bag so they would think it was a present. :)

Jayda got the card out and started reading it to her sisters.

WHAT????? NO WAY!!!

MOMMY'S HAVING A BABY!!!

HIP HIP HOORAY! YAY!!!!

The girls were so excited about their new baby brother or sister!

Sweet sisters hanging out on our freshly poured concrete!  Hooray for concrete!!!

After the concrete was poured they started framing the house and it went up very quickly.

The garage at the front of the house.

Looking into the living room and foyer from the kitchen.

Sweet girls in the gameroom.

Sydney and Avery in their room!

The back porch, my favorite part of the house!

Another view of the back porch.

Last friday was "Young Writers Day".  Jayda had fun reading us the two books she made this year.  One was "All About Dachshunds" and the other "When I Got My Puppy"! :) Think she loves dogs?Haha! She did a great job on both of them!

The girls had their first swim meet of the season last Saturday in Navasota.  I thought this was so neat how they swam the flags across the pool while the national anthem played.

Sydney was all ready to swim freestyle on Saturday!  Actually, she was ready to swim in her relay at the beginning of the meet, but one of their teammates was too upset to swim so they didn't get to do their relay.  By the time her first individual race came around she couldn't wait!  She is SO much more confident this year about swim team!  Last year she cried at the first meet and wouldn't swim, and at most of the other ones too.  I am so very proud of her!  She has been trying so hard and is swimming so well, and it's only the beginning of the season! Yay Sydney!

On the blocks at the first meet, brave girl!

Miss Jayda on the other hand was very nervous at the first swim meet.  She said her stomach was hurting most of the time and she just seemed on edge.  She swam fast and got 5th overall in freestyle, and 1st overall in backstroke!  I was SO proud of her!  Just hope that her nerves aren't as bad at the next meet.

Miss Sydney waiting to do backstroke.  She did awesome at the meet, and got 3rd place in backstroke and freestyle!

Jayda about to jump in for backstroke.

First place freestyle relay team, yay girls!

The relay team, plus Sydney and Heidi. :)  LOVE all of these sweet girls!  I'm so happy that Jayda and Sydney both have good friends on the team and that they love swimming so much.  I have such great memories from swimming on The Lakers, and I'm so glad they are making some great memories too.  I am one proud Mommy!!!
