And I finally let big sis in the picture! Sydney was so happy and Avery was so not. These pictures just crack me up! Avery is generally a happy, laid back baby. But, if you make her mad, she gets REALLY mad and will cry so loud your ears literally start ringing. I know that I have definite hearing loss from her and Sydney. :) I'll have to remind them of this when I'm old one day and can't hear a darn word they are saying. Lol. I guess she's taking after Sydney with her little personality, and Jayda with the looks. We sure do love her to the moon though!
Avery likes to lay on her back and play. She can hold a few of her toys for a few seconds and usually brings them straight up to her mouth to chew on. When she drops it she gets mad and starts crying for you to pick it up. She does not like tummy time. I thought by now she'd be more comfortable on her tummy, but I was wrong. Almost instantly when she goes on her tummy she starts crying and pulls her knees up to her chest and kicks them back out. Guess she may start crawling soon. Lol. She has also rolled over both ways, but obviously prefers going from tummy to back. I think she just likes to see everything around her and when she's on her tummy all she sees is the floor. She definitely doesn't miss anything that goes on in this house. She is so alert and watches everything we do. She also has some "stranger anxiety" going on and cries when anyone else holds her besides me, her daddy or her sisters. I'm sure she will get past that once she gets a little older. A few weeks ago she discovered the dogs and likes to watch them play. She's even started smiling at Daisy and thinks she's pretty funny. Yesterday I had her in the bathroom and she saw herself in the mirror. It was too stinkin' cute! She would smile real big, then put her hands in her mouth and duck her little face into my shoulder. I guess she thought it was another baby. Me and the girls couldn't stop laughing at her because it was so sweet! She is such a happy baby and smiles all the time. I'm sure she can't wait to get down and play with those big sisters, and they can't wait either! |
