Baby Ty Arrives, Thanksgiving 2012 & Getting Ready for Baby Girl!

Our sweet newphew, Ty Paschal, arrived a few weeks ago on Saturday, November 17th.  He is the sweetest baby boy I've ever met, although I may be a bit bias. :)  We went up to the hospital for a while on friday night when Lourdes was in labor and stayed a few hours.  We headed home thinking that she wouldn't have him for several more hours and by the time we got home she was already almost ready to push!  Jacob headed back up to the hospital and got to be there when sweet Ty was born.  Me and the girls met him the next morning and fell in love right away.  He is so incredibly cute and sweet and we can hardly get enough of him!

The girls meeting Ty!  The love their little cousin!

Jayda loves holding her baby cousin.  She wants to hold him all the time!

Me holding Ty for the first time.  Love this little guy!

Guess who else loves holding him?!  Yep, she asks to hold him constantly!

A few weeks ago Oma got to come and visit on a friday afternoon.  She went with us to pick up Jayda from school and to our usual friday afternoon gathering at the park.

Running to us after getting out of school.  Yay for friday!!

The girls with Oma after school!

Heading to the park on friday afternoon!
The day before Thanksgiving I took the girls to get their hair trimmed. They love getting their hair cut and always want to get a hair wash too.  Can't forget about the lollipops!

Miss Jayda after getting her hair all fixed!

Sydney always wants her lollipop while she's getting her haircut.
I think that's what their supposed to get after they get done. :)
Jayda had a Thanksgiving feast at her school last week.  Nana was in town and got to come with us to the feast.  Jayda was so excited that we came to participate!  She looked so cute dressed up in her pilgrim outfit!

Cutest little pilgrim!
For Thanksgiving we took it pretty easy this year and stayed at our house.  Oma and Oupa came up to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving lunch with us!  We had a great day enjoying lots of good food and the outdoors!

Jayda wanted to help me make the stuffing.  Sweet girl.

We took a little walk to the park while the ham and turkey were cooking.
Sweet sisters wanted to ride in the jeep together to the park.

Jayda's favorite thing to do at every park now are the monkey bars.  She is
actually really good at them too.  Can't believe how strong she is!

Had to take a picture of our little hot dog on Thanksgiving too.  She's getting so big!

Little munchkin loves riding the big girl bike now!  She is doing so good!
Since daddy was home for several days over Thanksgiving he worked with the girls a lot on their bikes. Jayda is doing great on her big bike without training wheels and Sydney is riding a regular bike with training wheels instead of the little tricycle. They absolutely love riding their bikes now and ask to go out all the time.
We went out for several bike rides with them over the break and they had a blast!
On black friday we stayed home this year and did some things around the house instead of going out shopping.  It felt a little weird since we are always usually out shopping all day, but it was so nice to get things ready for baby girl and put up Christmas decorations!  Since we're getting down to the last few weeks before she gets here I was starting to get a little stressed about everything I needed to do.

My sweet girls decorated the Christmas tree for me on Friday.  Love them!

My mom and I decorated baby Avery's room all day friday.  It turned out so pretty, I love it!
Thank you Mom for all your help!!

Love the pretty letters that Oma made!

I think this little wall decal turned out so pretty with the butterflies.  We are ready for her to get here!
On saturday Jacob surprised me with an early Christmas present, a new car!!  He got me an expedition and I love it!  It is the perfect car for our family and has plenty of room for all 3 kiddos now.  It drives so nice and I feel very safe in it.  Couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present, love you babe!

Love my shiny new black expedtion.

Yesterday we had to make a quick trip to the grocery store and the girls wanted to take a little ride.

San Antonio Trip & Halloween 2012!

The past week or so has been pretty busy around here, but lots of fun!  Last wednesday we had Jayda's girl scout meeting.  The girls had a good time playing at the park beforehand, as usual, and the girls had fun celebrating Halloween a little early.

Silly girls on the slide!

My sweet big girl!

The girls made halloween masks and Sydney got to participate too!

Time for the mask parade.

Then, last friday Jacob and I had a super fun date night and went to The Woodlands Pavillion to watch Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean in concert.  Jacob has some super sweet clients that give us tickets to whatever concerts we want to see so we took them up on their offer.  Luke Bryan sang first for an hour and then Jason Aldean came on for another hour.  I definitely enjoyed Luke Bryan more, I think I like his love songs more while Jacob likes Jason Aldean's loud and fast paced music.  We had a great time and it was so nice to get out on our own.  Thank you so much to Justin and Lourdes for babysitting so that we could have a night out, y'all are awesome!!

On saturday morning, after a late night out the night before, we got up early and headed to San Antonio.  My cousin Stuart's wedding was on sunday in San Antonio so we thought it would be fun to go down early and take the girls to Sea World since we'd never had the chance to do that.  We dropped Daisy off with Justin and Lourdes (we love you guys!!!) and made the 3 hour trek down to San Antone.  The girls did pretty good in the car and we made it to Sea World by 2:00 p.m. saturday afternoon.  We all had an absolute blast and are so glad we made the trip!  We started off feeding the dolphins and I thought that was the neatest thing ever!

All ready to feed the dolphins with daddy.

Jayda loved feeding the dolphins fish.  She kept trying to reach out and pet them too!

"Come here little dolphin!"

Sydney did not want to touch the fish so it took quite a while for her to actually pick one
up and feed the dolphin but once she did she was so proud of herself.  The girls loved this!

Sydney went on the carousel while Daddy took Jayda on the Shamu Express roller coaster.  They love going on rides!

Jacob took them on the caterpillar ride too, so fun!

We had to see the "One Ocean" show with Shamu.  It was amazing and so hard to believe how smart these whales are!
The girls thought the show was awesome!

Ta-dah!  He's waving goodbye to everyone with his tail at the end of the show.

This was Jayda's favorite ride!  Jacob took her on it 3 times in a row and she LOVED it!

They just had to get their picture taken with Cookie Monster.  Sydney was very excited about this!

Lovin' on the sea lion statues.

There were several of these cute little picture spots all over Sea World since it was Halloween weekend.

On sunday we walked down to the riverwalk to check things out.  We ended up taking the girls to a mirror maze.  They thought it was really fun, and we weren't sure if we were going to find our way out.  Luckily we did!

Pretty pic down on the riverwalk.

Sunday afternoon we came back to our hotel and had an early lunch and then put Sydney down for a nap.  Once Syd woke up we quickly got ready for the wedding at 3 p.m.

The girls looked so pretty for the wedding!

The girls were ready for the wedding and kept asking when Stuart and Jennifer were going to come out?!

Beautiful bride and groom getting married!

Our sweet little family at the wedding reception.

These 2 munchkins love weddings and love to dance!

Dancing with some other little girls at the reception.
Yesterday for Halloween Sydney and I, and Daisy, started out the morning by carving a pumpkin.

Daisy was helping us get the pumpkin ready to carve.

And we're all done!  I didn't get any pictures of Sydney carving the pumpkin, probably because I did mostly all of it!  She did not like the gooey insides or seeds so mommy had to do that task.  She did have fun helping me make the puppy dog and vampire pumpkins.

Poor little Daisy is barking at me to get her Halloween shirt off!

Sweet girls on Halloween after Jayda got home from school.

And the lil' pumpkin was already worn out before we went trick or treating!

Jayda decided to be Merida from the movie Brave and Sydney wanted to be Minnie Mouse this year.
I thought their costumes looked so cute!

Merida and Minnie were ready for some candy!!

Since we were going to be gone we put a bucket of candy out for the trick or treaters to help themselves.

Look at all that candy!  Wow!

So excited about all the yummy candy she got!
Hope everyone had a very fun, safe, and Happy Halloween
