San Antonio Trip & Halloween 2012!

The past week or so has been pretty busy around here, but lots of fun!  Last wednesday we had Jayda's girl scout meeting.  The girls had a good time playing at the park beforehand, as usual, and the girls had fun celebrating Halloween a little early.

Silly girls on the slide!

My sweet big girl!

The girls made halloween masks and Sydney got to participate too!

Time for the mask parade.

Then, last friday Jacob and I had a super fun date night and went to The Woodlands Pavillion to watch Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean in concert.  Jacob has some super sweet clients that give us tickets to whatever concerts we want to see so we took them up on their offer.  Luke Bryan sang first for an hour and then Jason Aldean came on for another hour.  I definitely enjoyed Luke Bryan more, I think I like his love songs more while Jacob likes Jason Aldean's loud and fast paced music.  We had a great time and it was so nice to get out on our own.  Thank you so much to Justin and Lourdes for babysitting so that we could have a night out, y'all are awesome!!

On saturday morning, after a late night out the night before, we got up early and headed to San Antonio.  My cousin Stuart's wedding was on sunday in San Antonio so we thought it would be fun to go down early and take the girls to Sea World since we'd never had the chance to do that.  We dropped Daisy off with Justin and Lourdes (we love you guys!!!) and made the 3 hour trek down to San Antone.  The girls did pretty good in the car and we made it to Sea World by 2:00 p.m. saturday afternoon.  We all had an absolute blast and are so glad we made the trip!  We started off feeding the dolphins and I thought that was the neatest thing ever!

All ready to feed the dolphins with daddy.

Jayda loved feeding the dolphins fish.  She kept trying to reach out and pet them too!

"Come here little dolphin!"

Sydney did not want to touch the fish so it took quite a while for her to actually pick one
up and feed the dolphin but once she did she was so proud of herself.  The girls loved this!

Sydney went on the carousel while Daddy took Jayda on the Shamu Express roller coaster.  They love going on rides!

Jacob took them on the caterpillar ride too, so fun!

We had to see the "One Ocean" show with Shamu.  It was amazing and so hard to believe how smart these whales are!
The girls thought the show was awesome!

Ta-dah!  He's waving goodbye to everyone with his tail at the end of the show.

This was Jayda's favorite ride!  Jacob took her on it 3 times in a row and she LOVED it!

They just had to get their picture taken with Cookie Monster.  Sydney was very excited about this!

Lovin' on the sea lion statues.

There were several of these cute little picture spots all over Sea World since it was Halloween weekend.

On sunday we walked down to the riverwalk to check things out.  We ended up taking the girls to a mirror maze.  They thought it was really fun, and we weren't sure if we were going to find our way out.  Luckily we did!

Pretty pic down on the riverwalk.

Sunday afternoon we came back to our hotel and had an early lunch and then put Sydney down for a nap.  Once Syd woke up we quickly got ready for the wedding at 3 p.m.

The girls looked so pretty for the wedding!

The girls were ready for the wedding and kept asking when Stuart and Jennifer were going to come out?!

Beautiful bride and groom getting married!

Our sweet little family at the wedding reception.

These 2 munchkins love weddings and love to dance!

Dancing with some other little girls at the reception.
Yesterday for Halloween Sydney and I, and Daisy, started out the morning by carving a pumpkin.

Daisy was helping us get the pumpkin ready to carve.

And we're all done!  I didn't get any pictures of Sydney carving the pumpkin, probably because I did mostly all of it!  She did not like the gooey insides or seeds so mommy had to do that task.  She did have fun helping me make the puppy dog and vampire pumpkins.

Poor little Daisy is barking at me to get her Halloween shirt off!

Sweet girls on Halloween after Jayda got home from school.

And the lil' pumpkin was already worn out before we went trick or treating!

Jayda decided to be Merida from the movie Brave and Sydney wanted to be Minnie Mouse this year.
I thought their costumes looked so cute!

Merida and Minnie were ready for some candy!!

Since we were going to be gone we put a bucket of candy out for the trick or treaters to help themselves.

Look at all that candy!  Wow!

So excited about all the yummy candy she got!
Hope everyone had a very fun, safe, and Happy Halloween

Baby Shower Fun!

A few weeks ago we threw Justin and Lourdes a baby shower for sweet little Ty that will be here soon!  We had the shower at the Inn at the Ballpark and I think everything turned out really nice.  It was a sports themed shower since that is what his nursery will be like.  The food was great, and Brandy planned lots of fun sports themed games for us to play.  The cake was so pretty too!  And, best of all Justin and Lourdes got some great gifts to get started with their new precious baby!

Beautiful cake!

The boys playing a game where they had to drink beer from a bottle.  This was quite hilarious!

We also had a diaper changing relay.

We had an adorable motorcycle diaper cake made for the shower and the girls
made Ty the precious little basketball teddy bear at Build A Bear.

This had to be the funniest thing ever!  Lourdes had to feed Justin baby food after being spun around and blind folded.  We could not stop laughing.  They actually did a good job, until the end when Lourdes got the food in Justin's ear. :)

They were both such good sports for all the games, and now time for the presents!  Yay for the baby bouncer!

And a new car seat, woo-hoo!  Now little Ty is all set!

Last friday night Jayda went to a pajama party and Sydney was very upset that she couldn't go to.  So, I told her that we would do something fun while Jayda was at the party.  They were having a Pretty in Pink party at the Sugar Land Townsquare to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.  I heard there would be a pink fire truck there and lots of pink lights so Sydney said that sounded fun.  Plus, we would meet daddy for dinner down there too!  She was so excited to see the pink fire truck and even got to get on it.  We had lots of fun with just one kiddo for the evening! :)

Getting her picture taken on the pink fire truck.

She even got to get on to the deck up above!

And, I got to sign the truck.  Yay Mom!

Later that night the whole townsquare was lit up pink.  It was so pretty, and inspiring!

Rodeo and Fair Fun!

So, we have lots and lots of cute pics of the girls with Daisy.  I just have to share a few!

Sydney and Daisy on the way to pick Jayda up from school!

Jayda loves to play with Daisy!

Fun times with her baby!

Such a sweet smile!

Sydney loves, loves, loves to ride her tricycle all the time!  Everytime we get home she pulls it
out of the garage and asks if she can ride it.  She is really good at riding it now too!

The girls love to take Daisy to the park and play with her.

Sweet puppy waiting for the girls at the park.

She likes to hang out under the swings.
Last friday we went with some sweet friends to the Ft. Bend County rodeo.  There was a cute petting zoo, pony rides, and a fun carnival.  The girls had a great time, and loved the rides the most.
My little cowgirl all ready for the rodeo!

The girls were ready for a pony ride!

Sydney was super excited to ride on the horsey!

Jayda loved it too!

Going on a little 4 wheeler ride!

Sweet sisters going on a ride together!

The fun slide was definitely Jayda's favorite ride at the rodeo!  She did it several times!

The girls and their sweet friends Madden and Miles all got to do the teacup ride together.  Woo-hoo!
Last weekend we headed to Huntsville to celebrate my mom's birthday.  We had a nice dinner at home on saturday night and enjoyed a yummy birthday cheesecake on sunday!  We also visited the Fair on the Square while we were there.  It was a fun weekend.  Happy Birthday Oma!

Gotta do the sand art at the fair!

Jayda couldn't wait to get her face painted!

Sydney was so excited to get her face painted.

Daisy and Sydney were resting together yesterday while Mommy got the house picked up.  So sweet!

Jayda became a Daisy girl scout yesterday.  She was so excited and it was such a sweet afternoon with her troop!
